Located adjacent to the Historic Shoenberg Farm (one of the original homesteads in Westminster, CO) is Hidden Lakes. R Design conceived of a site plan positioning the building on the land to create a connection to the historic structures with a space that is composed for farmers markets and gathering. Habitat gardens, an entry plaza, walking paths, community gardens and a gathering space for families and small groups highlight the residents' experience.  

The site is planted with bands of native plant material and “hedge rows” of switch grass soften the parking aisles as a nod to the site’s agricultural heritage.
