The owner of a series of very highly regarded Japanese Restaurants located on the historic South Pearl Street in Denver, CO tasked the design team with creating a simple yet balanced celebration of the Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi. R Design located and specified bamboo plantings which surround the rooftop garden and are the centerpiece of a two story staircase. This  bold statement of vegetation integrates into the refined finishes and natural materials of the architecture. This rare, lush interior space creates a transformative experience from the busy street to the rooftop lounge.
