Atomic Ranch

Located in an enclave with large wooded lots, quiet winding streets and a mature tree canopy, this residence was originally constructed in the 1960’s and was later restored using all of the principles of mid-century modern architecture. As a part of the most recent renovation, R Design detailed and designed a complimentary landscape and rectangular pool that extends the lines of the structure into the land. The pool is flanked by concrete walls with a custom black sand finish and pavers extend paths into the site. Mature trees were preserved and the site perimeter was planted with prairie and other native plantings to provide a soft backdrop. The design stitches together the purity of the architecture with the gentle terrain of the land.
